When you create an account on pre55kit.com, we collect the information you provide directly: your email address, display name, and profile content (bio, photo, social links, tracks, event listings, and technical rider).
We also collect usage data automatically when you visit the platform. This includes your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP. This data is used solely to improve the service and power the analytics features available to artists on paid plans.
If you submit a booking request through an artist's presskit page, we collect the contact information you enter (name, email, event details) and store it to deliver it to the relevant artist.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and artist profiles
- Display your public presskit page to visitors
- Process subscription payments through Stripe
- Deliver booking requests to the relevant artists
- Provide analytics on profile views and track plays (paid plans)
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, booking notifications)
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers managed by Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
Uploaded files (profile photos, cover images, audio) are stored in Supabase Storage, a managed S3-compatible object store. Files are served over HTTPS.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
4. Third-Party Services
pre55kit.com integrates with the following third-party providers:
Stripe
We use Stripe to process subscription payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is submitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Supabase
Supabase provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure. Your account credentials are managed through Supabase Auth with bcrypt password hashing. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
Embedded content
Artist preskit pages may embed content from SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. These platforms may set their own cookies when you interact with embedded players. We do not control those cookies or the data those platforms collect.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information through your dashboard
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your profile data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Analytics are server-side and do not rely on browser cookies.
